Distance

This additional distance is not only from the spring-like effect of the thin 2.5mm face, but also from the ingenious design of the Driver's Top-Plane. The Driver is also available in higher loft options, allowing golfers with slower swing speeds to achieve a more optimal launch angle for maximum distance. New Technology allows for thin materials to be used seamlessly in one clubhead. An ultra-lightweight high strength top plane is used for the upper shell, allowing for an even larger face and sweet-spot resulting in unprecedented distance and accuracy. Delivering more power and effortlessly sending your shot further.

Accuracy

The Top-Plane of the club head has been designed with a special aiming indicator for highly accurate alignment of your shot to your target line. Professional instructors around the world emphasize these factors as the essential elements to achieving a successful swing and ball flight. Additionally, the thin top widens the effective hitting area for greater forgiveness on off-center hits, giving you the most forgiveness and solid performance on all swings and hits that might not be your best.

Improved Sweet-Spot Location

The Advanced TopPlane lowers the center of gravity so that the sweet-spot of the club is automatically aligned with the sweet-spot of the ball. This was all accomplished without reducing the size of the face or sweet spot.

Tour Graphite Shaft

Graphite (available in R-Flex, S-Flex or Senior A-flex)

THOMAS Frequency & Flex Matched tour-grade shafts made of premium super high modulus graphite fibers provide a light weight of 60 grams for increased swing speed, while maintaining a low torque of 3.3° to reduce head twisting and lagging at impact, resulting in increased shot accuracy. THOMAS shafts are seamless and have been specifically designed to match and optimize the performance of THOMAS heads for alignment accuracy and ball flight. Specialized Mid Kick-Point provides an optimum balance of trajectory & control. Each shaft undergoes extensive testing including Bend Stressing and Frequency Calibration ensuring integrity and consistency from shaft to shaft.

The Senior version has a specialized Low Kick-Point to assist in achieving higher shot trajectory.

Standard-weight Steel with Mid/High Bend-Point (available in R-Flex, S-Flex or X-flex)

Unbelievable!!!! I had been playing with off the rack clubs for five years. I'm not a great golfer. I regularly shoot in the upper 90's and over the past year I put away all my woods. I just could not hit them. Then I ordered a Thomas 2, 5, and 7 wood to go with my new set of Thomas irons. All I can tell you is a comment from one of my playing partners. I would just like to comment on my recent purchase of your Men's AT460-GO Titanium-Graphite Driver 9° with offset hosel. I used it for the first time today, and I must state that of the 5 drivers (all with some kind of gimmick) (i.e. 640cc, armor piercing material on the face of the club, adjustable weights. etc. etc.) that I've purchased in the past year, I must honestly compliment the craftsmanship, quality, and design of your club. FINALLY, I found a driver that 1- hits straight, 2- is very lightweight and easy to swing, and 3- isn't overpriced like these "big name in golf" brands. I have finally achieved my first 300+ yd drive, IN THE AIR, not counting roll, and was extremely impressed by being on the fringe of a 335yd par 4. I would like to thank you again for such an outstanding club and design such as this, I have never in my life ever complimented any company for their product, so this is a first for me. I had to re-adjust my whole game and club selection now due to the added yardage of my drives. I have your entire set of woods 3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25 so of course I had to complete it with your driver, and with your entire set in my bag (which is also yours) except the putter, I am finally looking forward to going out and knowing I can compete and impress my partners with some wonderful shots which I know I couldn't do with other clubs I had. I hope this isn't too long, but for the record, I was absolutely impressed and amazed by the ease of use of your higher degree (21w, 23w, and 25w) especially from the sand. So much easier to use than my sand wedge, sorry my wedges PW, SW, GW, and LW are also from your 505 series which I now replaced with the woods. I want to let you know how pleased I am with my purchase. I did a lot of research before deciding on Thomas Golf clubs, and my research paid off. HOLE IN ONE! My husband purchased the 11 wood for me first. I liked it so much we got the 3 and 5 wood in January. On August 11th we purchased the 380 Driver Graphite shaft and on September 29th I had a hole in one with this club. It was the Ladies 18 hole Championship playoff. I had it at Druid Hills Golf Club, Fairfield Glade TN. It is the hardest par 3 on the course, 128 yards, uphill to a tiered green. I love my woods and have been playing much better golf since I got them. I am thinking of getting the irons soon.

I finally got out to play golf and tried out my new Thomas Golf Driver and 7 wood. I hit my Biggest Big Bertha first and then your driver.. Boy was I surprised! The Thomas Golf Driver landed it right in the fairway and ten yards farther than the Birtha. I used the 7 wood on a par 3 and put the ball within two feet of the hole. I love my new clubs! I tried out my new Thomas graphite driver and it works marvelous. Even though I've been playing on and off for over 6-7 years as a beginner, I want to say the driver works well. I hit further and straight to the pin. I played my usual 9-hole at Monterey Park Golf Course and I got a 58 score. I usually get in the mid to high 60's, so this club does work well.
